They were delighted to be able to find affordable and relaible transportation to move their family about and aid the refugee community in assimilating into this country.
Meet Odia. Odia was one of the first resipients of a His Hands restored automobile. The 1993 Plymouth was alos Odia's very first car as he was a fresh arrival from Zimbabwaa This car , which cost Odia $300, served he and his family for over a year. As his family grew, Odia's automobile needs also grew. His Hands was able to receive his original car in trade and for $ 500 he and his family were into their first minivan, a 1999 Voyager, in turn , outright giving the 93 Plymouth to a single mother who's car was no longer safe to drive.
Pictured is Odia and Chris the day Odia drove home his first car.

A True Story of Sucess in the Process
Dorthy was one of the earliest clients of His Hands Auto, even before the name was founded. Dorthy's car was constantly breaking and costing her precious money she often didnot have. A few times the necessary repairs were made without any cost to Dorthy. After 2 years of putting money into this "money pit", the car was at it's end. This is where the story gets good. The same week Dorthy's car died for good, God sent a donor minivan to His Hand's Auto Ministry. The vehicle needed an alternator and battery and was good to go. Dorthy brought in her old clunker and for the cost of her title, drove off in her new, gently used mini van. This van reliably served her for 18 months until she was on her feet enough to go out and pruchase a nicer used car. Dorthy was even able to use the van for a $1000 down payment. Now that is a great story of how His Hand's Auto desires to be able to bless people and get them back on the road and in the game !
This is the Dhakal family. They are refugees from Bhutan and they are seen standing next to their new car, a 1993 Buick Century. This car is rather special as it was the first donated to His Hands and was the first car to be driven off the lot by a client of His Hands. This picture was taken in december of 2010 and the family is still driving this car and except for the occassional maintenance items, has been totally trouble free. The Dhakal family still calls on Chris and His Hands for work on this car and a new one they have in the family. Here is a fun fact. the fellow on the left is Lila and he in currently enrolled at GRCC in the automotive technology class to become a mechanic.
